My story and why I do this work.

I came to therapy work through my own experiences with anxiety and the transformative effect that good therapy had on my life.

For over a decade I've worked with adults across a wide range of life circumstances: the high-functioning individual who can't slow down their mind, the person rebuilding after a difficult relationship, the new parent navigating identity shifts, the individual carrying old wounds that keep surfacing. Whatever brings someone through the door, I meet them where they are.

My clinical approach is integrative, meaning I draw from several evidence-based modalities rather than applying one rigid framework. I'm trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Attachment Therapy, and Somatic therapy. I tailor what I use to who you are and what you need — your history, your nervous system, your goals.

How I work

What you can expect in our work together.

Collaborative

You are the expert on your own life. My role is to bring curiosity, structure, and evidence-based tools — your role is to bring honesty and courage.

Non-judgmental

There is nothing you've thought, felt, or done that will change how I see you.

Goal-oriented

We'll set clear goals together. Therapy should move — if it feels stuck, we talk about it and adjust.

Evidence-based

The approaches I use have research support. I stay current through continuing education so you benefit from what actually works.

Culturally aware

Identity, culture, and social context shape mental health in profound ways. I bring awareness of these dimensions into our work and welcome conversations about how they affect you.

Common questions

Things people often ask.

Do you accept insurance?

I am in network with BlueCross and BlueShield, Atena, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH

What is telehealth therapy like?

Sessions are conducted over a secure video platform (similar to a video call). Most clients find it just as effective as in-person therapy, with the added benefit of not having to commute. You'll need a private space with a reliable internet connection.

What if I've never been to therapy before?

The first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. Many people feel nervous before their first session — that's completely normal. I'll walk you through what to expect and we'll go at your pace.
